30 June - 2 July Kronos Quartet residency at the Malta Arts Festival

Malta Arts Festival
This marks the second meeting of the Kronos Quartet and the Rothko Quartet. In early 2013 the Rothko Quartet received masterclasses from David Harrington on Schnittke String quartet No. 3 and Debussy String Quartet.
This residency gives the opportunity for the quartet to be tutored by each member of the Kronos Quartet - including the new commission by Silver Scrolls SOUNZ Contemporary Award 2012 Alex Taylor.

Friday 5th July Ersheimer Kapelle

Rothko Quartet's debut international concert is hosted at the Ersheimer Kapelle, Hirschhorn, Germany at 6pm on the 5th of July. We will be accepting donations. Programme:

The Rothko Quartet present one of the all time favourites of the string quartet repertoire - Antonin Dvorak's American quartet. Journey through sunny western vistas, Native-American impressions, and galloping horse rides on the plains.
